I'm a wretch, who, by His glorious grace, has been adopted by the God of the universe. Praise Jesus from coming in the flesh and dying on the cross for the sins of the world to redeem fallen humanity to God. I'm seeking God in all I do, trying to be led by the Spirit-- seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.
a quick update
all is well here in the DR/Haiti, where I am at. i spent the day today driving a motorcycle around Anse-a-Pitres, Haiti and practicing my creole. i met a little girl (probably just a year and a half/ two years old) who can’t walk.. and so i have decided i want to work with her everyday from now on and do some physical therapy so we can strengthen her legs and get her walking! tomorrow i am off the work in the clinic and assist the nurses with their duties. overall though, things are going well. i’ve already gotten to know the people in my town pretty well and those who i work with. i’ve been blessed to be able to witness and testify to the Lord’s goodness. i have met some jehovah’s witnesses and have been dialoguing with them about their faith and the differences between what they believe and the Christian faith. we have debated a bit and dug into the Word to find the truth over various matters. it’s been pretty fascinating and enlightening for the both of us! i think we may start to have a bible study.. given that they are somewhat biblically illiterate. i am hoping for fresh revelation to come from those times and for the truth to be revealed. all and all, exciting stuff in the works.
